Abu Dhabi Regulator Fines Crypto Firm Hayvn and CEO Over $12m for Breaches

Abu Dhabi’s financial regulator, the Financial Services Regulatory Authority (FSRA) of Abu Dhabi Global market (ADGM), has fined crypto firm Hayvn and its former CEO, Christopher Flinos, over $12 million for breaches related to anti-money laundering (AML) regulations and unlicensed activity. The FSRA imposed fines totaling $8.85 million on Hayvn and canceled its financial services license. Additionally, ADGM’s Registration Authority imposed a separate fine of $3.6 million, with $3.3 million specifically on Flinos for engaging in various fraudulent schemes. Hayvn Cayman and Hayvn ADGM were also fined $3.6 million and $3 million, respectively.
